Data controller
The full details of the data controller are being registered and will be published here upon incorporation. For any question about your data, write to contact@dronly.co: requests are handled within a month.
Data collected
Email address, at account creation, for authentication and service-related messages. If no video has been started, it is also used for a few follow-up messages — four at most, each carrying a one-click unsubscribe link that ends them permanently.
Billing data, processed by the payment provider. No card data passes through or is stored by Dronly.
Generation history: the submitted listing link, timestamp, duration and status. These serve credit accounting and support.
Submitted photographs
Photographs sent to the service are processed for the time it takes to produce the video, then deleted from the processing servers. They are neither resold nor reused to train a model.
As the video is entirely generated, each photograph kept for a shot is sent to the video generation provider, exclusively to produce that shot.
Purposes and legal bases
Contract performance: providing the service, managing the account and credits.
Legal obligation: keeping accounting records.
Legitimate interest: service security and abuse prevention.
Legitimate interest: following up with open accounts that never started a video, about this same service and no other. Four messages at most, never after a purchase, never after an unsubscribe, and objection takes one click from every message, with no account and no form.
Retention periods
Account: until deleted by the user, then thirty days.
Produced videos: seven days from production, then automatic deletion. Videos never attached to an account are deleted after twenty-four hours.
Generation history: twelve months.
Accounting records: ten years, as required by law.
Processors
Hosting and database, payment provider, video generation provider, email delivery service. The named list is available on request at contact@dronly.co.
Some processors may be established outside the European Union. Transfers then rely on standard contractual clauses.
